Beach Vacays

Need the sound of the waves? Anywhere with water is good for my soul. Check out my tips for finding the beach vacation of your dreams.

Whether you prefer action-packed days in the sun with water sports, putt-putt, and go-carts or quiet, peaceful, empty miles of beach where you can walk and dream, a beach vacation might be just what the doctor ordered.

"There's no place like home. Except the beach."

Soft sand? Rocks and trees? Music pumping? Only the sound of birds? Eat fresh seafood out each night or cook most meals yourself and eat on the balcony with a view of the water? Big waves or calm bays? Decide what kind of beach vacay you want and make it happen!

Beach Vacation Tips and Tricks

With miles and miles of coastline in the US, you have plenty of beaches to choose from! First decide what the perfect beach vacation sounds like, whether you are driving or flying, and what your priorities are. For me, I want to wake up and be able to have coffee on my balcony with an ocean view. When my kids were young, I didn't want to have to pack up everything and cross a busy highway to get to the beach. I tend to spend more on the place and less on things to do. We take food with us, eat out a couple times, and do a lot of relaxing. What do you prioritize? I can help you figure it out and find the perfect spot to lay your towel out.
